Privacy policy

This policy explains what information lumbr studio ("lumbr studio", "we", "us") handles when you use the website at lumbrstudio.com and the lumbr studio design app (together, the "Service"), and why.

Information stored on your device

The projects you create, their preview images, your component library and your settings (such as imperial or metric units) are saved in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on your device. This data stays on your device: we don't receive it, can't see it and can't recover it. Clearing your browser's site data, or using a private window, deletes it.

Information our hosting provider processes

Like any website, the Service runs on a hosting provider that receives technical information with every request your browser makes: your IP address, the page or file requested, the date and time, your browser and operating system (user agent), and the referring page. The provider processes this information on our behalf to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We don't use it to identify you or to build a profile of you.

Our fonts, images and code are served from our own domain. The site doesn't load third-party scripts, trackers or social media widgets.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to reply to you and to improve lumbr studio, and we keep it only as long as we need it for that. We don't sell it or share it with anyone, except a provider that handles our email for us.

Cookies

lumbr studio doesn't set cookies. The browser storage described above is used only to make the app work (to save your projects and settings) and is never used for tracking.

Children

The Service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

You control the data stored on your device and can delete it at any time from your browser's settings. Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. The only personal information we hold is email you've sent us; to exercise any of these rights, email us from the address you used.

Changes to this policy

If lumbr studio adds features that handle more information, such as user accounts, syncing projects online or showing ads, we'll update this policy before those features launch and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll also note it on the site.
